Umair Haque writes interesting posts on his blog and he extols the virtues of 'listening up' to people who buy your products or services, rather than shouting down to them with the usual and still predominant marketing messages and methods we are bombarded with everyday.
Listening is not something which many people are very good at doing. We all hear but listening takes a lot of energy, thought and concentration, which is probably why most people find it so challenging.
