It's a good list. I know, from experience of setting up a three of my own enterprises, just how resilient you need to be get your own business up and running.
My first business was a cycling holiday business. I had no money apart from some credit on a card. It was before internet advertising took off so I relied on magazines to advertise. I broke even on my first holiday run.
I started an online delicatessen selling produce from local and European small hold farmers. It was great fun but my margins were too small to make it profitable enough.
My third business was running an online training company. I obtained contracts with a global bank and a global news business. Then the 2008 recession hit and they stopped sending people are way.
You find out how tough you are as an entrepreneur. Despite the long hours, hard work and emotions I experienced, it has not stopped my desire to be an entrepreneur. I have ideas and plans!
